Quality And Food Safety Are Our Watchwords

Quality and food safety are two of Company's key priorities, applied at all levels and in every activity in the group from supplier selection through to finished products inspection, including an extremely rigorous industrial process and full traceability.

    ISO 9001 Certification:customer focus
  • The EVIALIS quality policy makes customer satisfaction and continuous improvement a key priority. The company has set up a quality management system in line with this approach, enabling ISO 9001:2008 certification.
  • ISO 9001:2008 since 2009. This standard guarantees customers both services and quality at every stage in production and also at every level in the company. This certification covers:
  • plant,
  • quality,
  • sales,
  • purchase and administratives teams,
  • including marketing and formulation
"EXCIALIS"

Developed by an internal, multidisciplinarian working group, "EXCIALIS" is the name given to the guidelines underpinning the actions that will be rolled out throughout France and internationally. Targeting continuous improvement and a consistent Quality Safety Environment policy, InVivo NSA is committed to ensuring the long-term future of all its businesses. This commitment is based on the quality of our products, the satisfaction of our customers, the protection of employees and their professional resources, and on environmental respect.

Anticipating and planning for risks
The "EXCIALIS" document was produced using HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), the aim of which is to identify major risks and implement adapted resources for preventing, eliminating or reducing hazards to an acceptable level. The Group's commitment is focused on controlling the main risks at each of its sites and providing teams with support to make progress on quality, safety and the environment.

From assessment to action plan
1) Main principles: fundamental rules
The Guidelines identify a minimum limit that all the Group's businesses must achieve. This is the objective of more than 40 essential rules for which corrective actions must be implemented as a priority

2) Further requirements
The Guidelines document also contains further requirements in terms of controlling our processes:
- Production processes: formulation, purchasing, raw materials deliveries, etc.
- Support functions processes: human resources, maintenance, cleaning, etc.
- Management processes: customer complaints, internal audits, etc.

3) Recommendations
The Guidelines include nearly 90 recommendations on the good practices.

Rigorous selection of raw materials

Upstream of production, the group has set up a whole range of efficient procedures to ensure the quality of its supplies:

  • - selection and analysis of raw materials prior to supplier listing,
  • - assessment and classification of suppliers, raw material are only purchased from arroved supplier and audit conducted on the supplier periodically according to different risk level Strict quality cotrol plan on each raw material.

A controlled industrial process

EVIALIS carries out 1 million tests every year to guarantee the quality of its raw materials and finished products. These are carried out under the supervision of LAREAL, the group’s analytical and food research laboratory. Some of the tests are carried out in the regional laboratories integrated in the group’s main industrial sites and equipped to conduct a fast-track analysis of the main raw materials and finished product characteristics.

In the plants, each step of the industrial process involves a number of checks conducted by highly skilled teams of quality coordinators. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (H.A.C.C.P.), a method based on an in-depth analysis of the production process and its environment, was brought into general use in all group production plants in France in 1997.

Full traceability

Traceability of production at each factory is guaranteed by computerised industrial process management. As part of the traceability process, finished product samples are taken and kept for at least 6 months in the samples library of the source industrial plant. A detailed logistics system has also been set up to optimise safety during deliveries which, for example, includes compartment management in delivery trucks.

The wincos and navision system can trace all raw materials and delivered customers within 3 hrs.
